DeltaPort Open House

On Saturday, June 26th TSI and Westshore hosted our second community open house at Deltaport. It was an opportunity to welcome our neighbours and show them who we are, what we do and why it's important. By all accounts, the event achieved that goal and was a great success. We have received very positive feedback from our guests - comments ranging from "I learned a lot" to "Thank you - it was fascinating."

Tsawwassen First Nation Treaty

The Tsawwassen First Nation treaty came into effect on April 3, 2009. It is the first urban treaty in the history of British Columbia and the first modern treaty negotiated under the British Columbia Treaty Commission process. This historical event was celebrated by the Tsawwassen First Nation people along with their many neighbours and supporters. Purchasing & Procurement

A solid community partner, TSI has instituted a company policy to purchase supplies and equipment locally, whenever possible. This includes everything from container handling equipment and machinery, to service people and office supplies.

Economic Impact

In addition to total annual property taxes of approximately $5 million in Delta and Vancouver, TSI continues to provide employment and new business opportunities as well as revenue to the overall economy.
